Infrared Basics
T3 quartz lamps are used in many industrial heating applications, including adhesive drying/curing, silicone extrusion curing,
and coil coating. T3 lamps contain a resistive tungsten filament encased in a quartz envelope. As voltage is applied, the lamp
achieves full temperature within 2 - 3 seconds. The high temperature filament is capable of producing heat flux levels up to 200
watts/in2.
